Executive advisory and hands-on engineering through a period of rapid scaling. Built the content moderation platform, the fraud detection system, and the foundational data platform, and led the data strategy that aligned business decisions around it.
The problem
Marketplace scale arrives before the trust and safety infrastructure does. Moderation and fraud become existential at exactly the moment the team has least slack to build for them, and decisions are being made on data nobody fully trusts.
The approach
Build the detection systems and the data foundation together, so that moderation calls, fraud calls and the business metrics all draw on the same trusted substrate rather than diverging.
